Sprint Wire Rope Electric Hoists are rugged in construction, confirm to IS 3938 standards and are suitable for medium/heavy duty operation. Our hoists are of modular construction, with special emphasis on reliability, safety, performance and ease of maintenance.

Our hoists are manufactured in a range of capacities and can easily be made as per the technical specifications provided by the client. Their distinguishing features include :

• Design and Construction: The frame is fabricated from steel plates as is welded/bolted type. Hoists are designed in modular construction with each component, rope drum, gear box, motor, brake and panel, having easy access for maintenance.
• Motor: High starting torque fan cooled crane duty squirrel cage motors of 40% CDF rating in Class ‘B’ insulation as per IS 325-1970 manufactured by Bharat Bijlee / Crompton / Kirloskar or equivalent make, suitable for frequent braking and reversing, are used.
• Gear Box: Complete gear train for hoisting motion is in an enclosed dust proof steel casing provided with oil bath lubrication. Cover is provided for easy maintenance and inspection. Gears/pinions are made of alloy steel.
• Brake: Adjustable, self re-setting, electro-magnetic disc/shoe type brakes are fitted on the hoist motor. The brake is designed for 150% of load torque to ensure safe holding of the load.
• Rope Drum: Steel fabricated or seamless pipe drum is machine grooved to IS 3938 and designed to accommodate whole length of wire rope in one layer.
• Wire Rope: 6x36 construction steel wire rope with minimum factor of safety of 5 is provided.
• Lifting Hook: Forged steel shank type hook with thrust bearings for swivel is incorporated.
• Trolley:Cross travel motion can be motor driven, hand chain driven or push pull type as per requirement. Runner wheels can be factory adjusted for various sizes of I-beams.
• Limit Switches: Snap action type limit switches are provided to avoid over hoisting and over lowering.
• Control: The hoist is controlled from ground level by means of pendent type push buttons operating on low voltage of 110 volts, to ensure safety of operator.
• Control Panel: Fully enclosed dust proof control panel houses transformer, contactor, overload protection, phase failure relays and fuses.
